A DJ’s Guide To Hosting Music Bingo

Music bingo gives a DJ a structured game to run alongside the music. The host controls the pace, explains the rules, and verifies each winner; players listen for titles on their cards.

Build the event around the audience

Ask the organizer about expected attendance and music preferences before choosing a deck. A rock-focused crowd may prefer Classic Rock or Hair Bands, while a country night can use Country Jukebox. Preview the actual song list or playlist instead of assuming a decade or genre will suit every room.

Count cards and plan the rounds

One CardTunz set contains 100 different cards, supporting 5 to 100 people with one card per player. For more than 100 players, contact us before ordering to discuss the setup. Decide the winning patterns, whether cards reset between rounds, and how simultaneous claims will be handled. Announce these details before play begins.

Check the entire playback path

Open the exact playlist linked to the deck, then test your device, speaker, and any microphone together. Check volume from the farthest seats, secure power cables, and keep the host’s screen accessible. Avoid letting unrelated recommendations or autoplay add songs that are not in the set. Record the songs actually played so a shuffled order is still easy to verify.

Make winner checks part of the show

Ask players to shout CARDTUNZ! when the agreed pattern is complete. Pause playback, read back the claimed titles, and compare them with the played-song record. If more than one player claims on the same song, use the tie rule announced at the start. Clear calls and consistent checks matter more than rushing through tracks.

Choose reusable or downloadable cards

Laminated sets are $49.99 with free U.S. shipping and ship within one business day. They can be reused with dry-erase markers, which are not included. Digital sets are $19.99 and provide an immediate printable PDF download. Keep downloaded files for your own hosting use; do not resell or publicly share the paid card files.

Find The Matching Playlist

Use the Play page to find your deck’s Apple Music or Spotify playlist links (subscription required and not included), and available host call lists. A playlist link does not include a music subscription. For venue events, check the music service’s terms and the venue’s music arrangements before booking the night.
