Plan for the room you actually have
Count seats at the bar and tables before ordering. Each CardTunz set has 100 different cards for 5 to 100 players. Leave space for drinks, cards, and markers without blocking service areas. For a horseshoe bar, check that the people at both ends can hear the host as clearly as those in the center.
Let the regulars help choose the music

Give staff and the host separate jobs
Choose a host to run the playlist, explain patterns, and check winners. Agree with bar staff on when to pause for announcements or breaks. A visible call list and a record of songs played help settle questions without pulling staff away from service. If prizes are planned, tell players the prize and tie rules before the first round.
Start with a short explanation
Players mark a song title when they recognize it. Explain the winning pattern, the free space, and whether cards are cleared between rounds. Tell the room to shout CARDTUNZ! when the pattern is complete, then wait for the host to verify the songs. Demonstrate one example so newcomers can join without a long rules talk.
Prepare for the next club night
